Ghosts of Battle is organized around small, independent teams.
There are no large formations or complex hierarchies.
Each team operates on its own, with coordination when needed.
We can run up to 4 primary teams, plus attachments as needed:
Team 1
Team 2
Team 3
Team 4
Attachments (Air / Support)
Target team size: 6–8 players
Each team is built to operate independently But with the option to operate coperatively
Each team is a Multi-Functional Reconnaissance Team (MFRT):
Team Lead (TL) – movement, decisions, comms
ISR / JFO – drone use, targeting, fires coordination
Recon Specialists (x2–3) – mission-dependent roles (AT, DMR, etc.)
Demo Specialist – explosives, breaching, and sabotage
Medical Lead – sustainment and casualty care
Teams are flexible and may adjust per mission.
Each team has its own Team Lead (TL)
TLs coordinate when needed via command net
The next highest rank acts as 2IC if required
There is no separate command layer above the teams during normal operations.
Attachments are added based on mission needs:
Air (limited use)
Additional ISR
Support elements
Attachments integrate with teams but do not replace them.
Teams deploy independently but simultaneously within the same AO, working separate problems while staying loosely coordinated
Information is shared when needed
Decisions are made at the team level
Coordination happens, but control is not centralized
Small teams. Clear roles. Flexible execution.
